TwentyOne Collection

The Twentyone Collection is the result of a unique artistic collaboration between the Czech architect/designer Bořek Šípek and the French floral designer Christian Tortu. The vases came about following conversations and the exchange of drawings since early 2001. Christian Tortu offered ideas which were further developed by Bořek Šípek, culminating in an exhibition which opened on 8.11.01 at design salon Arzenal in Prague where the combination of glasswork and floral arrangements were photographed for this book by Filip Šlapal. The collection consists of 21 pieces. Those signed Š.T. are created by Šípek and Tortu together, those with the initials B.Š. by Bořek Šípek alone. All are handmade Bohemian Crystal produced by Ajeto glassworks in Lindava, North Bohemia.
