Curriculum Libor Fafala - a glass technology expert
Born 1952 in Rumburk, Northern Bohemia.
Together with Petr Novotný graduated from the three-years
Secondary Professional Glass Apprentice School Nový Bor,
specialization furnace glassmaking.
He continued in his studies at the Secondary Professional Glass
School Nový Bor, specialization glass technologies.
Then, he worked as a technologist and a hotshop head at the
Hantych glassworks in Nový Bor.
From 1982 - 1986 he taught the glass technology and manufacture
at L'ecole de beaux arts in Tunisia and in 1988 acted as an
expert technological consultant in several glassworks in
Cuba.
Together with Petr Novotný, his schoolmate from the same glass
institutes and a workmate from the Hantych glassworks in Nový
Bor, he established the Ajeto glassworks in 1991.
